Outside Sales Rep – MRO 

AmeriFast Supply, a distributor of Industrial MRO parts into manufacturing facilities, has an immediate need for an experienced outside sales representative. Accountable for managing a sales territory and strategic plans to achieve sales goals, as well as strategic objectives.  Cultivating new client relationships and closing sales. Experience in selling in the industrial market, B2B selling, machining experience a plus.

• Grow profitable sales within strategic and opportunistic growth segments
• Prospect and qualify appropriate new business opportunities, gain commitment to do business with AmeriFast
• Identify, qualify and win opportunities for new clients within assigned territory

Requirements

• 3 years minimum of a proven industrial sales career – or 5 years CNC Machining experience
• Fastener sales knowledge preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree a plus – Business, Marketing or Industrial Distribution preferred (an appropriate combination of experience/education is acceptable)
• Successful in face to face cold calls
• Weekly sales planning and targeted account planning a requirement

Customer Service Representative

General Responsibilities

Provide customer service to customers on a daily basis; maintain a relationship between the shipping and receiving, accounts payable, and the purchasing departments. Maintain relationship with customers.  Position requires familiarity with a wide variety of supplies and equipment commonly purchased and the ability to interpret detailed information including but not limited to purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices. 

Examples of Duties

• Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on leads.
• Understand customers needs and identify sales opportunities.
• Answer customers emails and send additional information when needed.
• Maintain customer relations.
• Enter sales orders into QuickBooks; ensure all corresponding documents and emails attached to sales orders.
• Works with customers creating sales orders and quoting items.
• Create sales orders in QuickBooks; ensure all corresponding documents and emails are attached.
• Create all quotes in QuickBooks; ensure all corresponding documents and emails are attached.
• Confirm all sales order with customers in a timely manner.
• Notify customers of backorder status.
• Process packing slips for customer deliveries when needed.
• Assist with weekly sales reports for customers.
• Assist in answering phones.
• Assists in warehouse as needed. And performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs.

Reportability:   This position reports to the Sales Manager.

Warehouse Associate

General Responsibilities

The warehouse associate receives shipments and restocks orders, keeps track of inventory, ships orders to customers, and maintains the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space.

Examples of Duties

1. Organizes and restocks products in the warehouse.
2. Process, pack, and ship orders accurately
3. Assists customer service department in addressing customer complaints with regards to shipments and deliveries.
4. Keeps warehouse organized and clean.
5. Devises new and improved ways to store and ship products.

Reportability: This position reports to the warehouse manager.                 

Equipment Used

Hand trucks, pallet jacks, a wide variety of dollies, handheld scanner, work computer.

Parts Delivery Driver

The Parts and Delivery Driver is responsible for pulling and preparing orders for shipments, maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times; and to receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material.  Completes shipments by loading and delivering orders.

Duties:

• Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
• Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders.
• Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Completes deliveries by driving company truck or van to and from vendors and customer locations.
• Maintains customers bins and vending machines by making sure product placed in correct location and area is clean.
• Communicate with customers regarding material needs or concerns they may have.
• Maintains truck or van by completing preventive maintenance checks and reporting needed repairs/problems/issues to Warehouse Manager.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Operates vehicles in compliance with all local, state, and federal laws.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Working Conditions:

• This position is hourly, knowing it may include hours which exceed eight hours in a day or forty hours in a week.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate to noisy.

Physical/Sensory Requirements:

• Ability to constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects a minimum of 75 pounds.
• The ability to use hands and fingers.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
